Scott...

looking good sure you will do a great job

Jesper...

Looks very nice.

Hussain...

just wondering .. would it clash with other plugins, such as saft ?

Peter...

Rock on. I’ve been missing having instant search results. I love Inquisitor so much.

Only trouble I’ve been having is with Japanese text entry. If you type K-O with Kotoeri on, it should become “ã?“”. Instead, Inquizitor “resolves” the K as “k”, and then the O becomes “ã?Š”. I’d love if that was fixed in 2.0.

Nonetheless, thank you, thank you, thank you. :)

Woody...

Any chance of writing a FireFox extension?

Zach...

WICKED
Cant wait.
ETA?

dukes...

Wow.

Very nice.

I want.

Chris...

Yes! Finnaly easy searching of Technorati! Can’t wait for this

Iain...

Looks excellent, been using this since beta and can’t see much room for improvement, so will be interesting to see what comes next.

Tim...

OMG, I love it. Will Google Blog Search be included ;)

Ed...

This is awesome. I can’t wait.

As an aside, where did you learn your software design skills? The only people who do a better job is Apple.

David...

Noticed a bug in Inquisito 1.0 wrt handling of ‘+’. Instead of correctly searching for %2B, it searches for ‘(space)’, making it impossible to search for, say, “c++”.

Wonderful utility by the way. It really changed the way I search the web. It becomes so natural so quickly I find myself expecting the same when typing URLs…

Anon...

No! Don’t make your app like Apple’s terrible Spotlight nonsense. Once I had a finder search that worked. Now I have 5 min spinning beach ball. What I like about your search is how responsive it is — very. This is what Apple SHOULD have done. So I guess if you have to make it all blue gradient and whatnot.. ok. But keep it fast.

Eric...

Any chance of it not recording searches made while on private browsing, like the built-in Google search bar does?

Tim...

Any plans on adding integration to finders search?

Looks great as always.

No, there are absolutely no plans to include local search. Inquisitor is a web search tool and always will be.

Ryan...

cool, would it ever ever be a possiblitiy to integrate aquition or news fire maybe?

Worried...

I love Inquisitor! This is so great! The only problem I have is similar to Peter Jaros, but with Chinese entry. Inquisitor will treat every character I enter as a independent character. I hope Inquisitor 2.0 can have more languages support.

Anyway, this is really a great plugin! Thank you!

James...

Any chance of a dashboard widget?

Can’t wait for 2.0!

Bryan...

OMG I can’t wait till this comes out!

Mitchell...

When will this come out?

mike...

I’ll switch back to safari from opera when this comes out :)

Guillaume...

I’m not sure that I correctly understand “Inquisitor”. But :-)

Like many others i’m using a social bookmarking tool (1). Can i use inquisitor to search in my personnal marks ?

Deron...

Will the software remain donateware or will it move to shareware?

Chaz...

Very Cool & Ingenuous! You Rock!

Rutger...

I smell a google buyout coming up. This combined with your websearch beta is just too awesome! David, amizing work. I use inquisitor every day and can’t imagine going back to the normal google search box. You rock.

Ben...

Love inquisitor, it does so much of my thinking for me. However the thing that would really improve its usefullness would be being able to select wether to search for results from one of the different regional google sites. From my point of view the UK one.
Looking forward to 2.0
