David...

Thanks.

Seem to have fixed the crash on launch that I had with the previous version. Sorry about the hideously long crash report – I had no idea it was that long!

David

Will...

Awesome, David. Thanks, keep ’em coming, and we’ll keep tapping the spacebar all day. :-)

Nate...

Thanks, David. This does indeed appear to have nuked the stability issues in v49.

Nate

James...

For those interested in getting NewsFire to look like iTunes 6, why not try out Max’s SmoothStripes theme. It’s added the new smooth metal look system wide.

Yes, indeed. That’s perfect. If you want to get rid of brushed metal, it’s senseless to do it on a per-app basis. Just install a different OS wide theme.

Daniel...

Maybe you could preload all images of the next 2 news items… (next as in pressing space). The images would appear instantly (which would be very nice).

If preloading were trivial, I’d be doing it.

Great build, as far as I can tell. Has none of the issues I was having with the previous builds. Got one feature request though: I’m a big fan of NewsFire’s Growl support, but I wish that it would do Growl notifications when NewsFire is active as well. I’d like to know what feeds get updated when I’m reading… :)

Ange...

No more crush at the beginning.
I love your continual upgrading.

Brandon...

Great build – this seems to be the perfect cleanup of all the things that have been percolating since v46 came out. Thank you!

William...

Personally, I didn’t have any crashes with the previous build of 1.3. It is nice to see another out and about, looking forward to the final version.

Joel...

Nice job, David! I personally think that NewsFire is the most underrated RSS reader for OS X.

I move on to others but I keep on coming back to NewsFire!

Josh...

Great release. This seems to fix my previous beta instability problems. Thank you for all your hard work!
