Andrew...

Just beautiful.

I’d love to see keyboard navigation of the ‘suggested searches’ using the up/down keys, or maybe the option to collapse the inquisitor search bar when not in use?

-Andrew.

Yannick...

Realy nice!

Andreas...

Nice!

William...

I got to say, that looks great; very beautiful and elegant in my opinion. Good work.

Ted...

This is fantastic

Chris...

Is this a Saft sidebar, or something like it?

Reinier...

Woweee! Very slick.

Christian...

I love it; is this how future versions of Inquisitor will look? It captures the Mail/iLife look perfectly, just like NewsFire.

Brandon...

Very, very nice.. I can’t wait!

Tom...

Would it work with Camino, too?

Zach...

holy crap. This is my new homepage. Why can’t those huge companies figure this stuff out? This is what people want in a search engine!

Dylan...

Looks great David! Very slick. It makes a perfect homepage.

Maybe just add a few more sites. I’m thinking Wikipedia, BBC, IMDb, eBay. Also Google’s ugly favicon could use a replacement.

Does it work on IE for Winblows?

Your a machine, keep up the good work!

Zach...

Feature Request: Istead of simply adding in other search engines yourself, add the ability for the user to add a custom website. There are too many search sites out there for you to satisfy everyone, this way everyone is happy.
Awesome stuff man!

Brady...

I want this on one of our websites, show us the way! This type of search on a company site or blog would be beautiful.

Stéphane...

This is just so simple and beautiful… I hope you’re be able to refrain from the temptation to add any more button or feature or ad links, because it’s perfect like this!

axel...

This is great, making it my startpage

Ben...

it would be nice to have an interface like this for Del.icio.us, because the Delicious UI is REALLY BAD, if somebody could make an alternate UI like this, it would be FANTASTIC!!!
and i think dave’s the person to do it

Alex...

I’m sending the link to everyone in my address book. Keep ’em coming and you’ll keep getting my cash!

Jeff...

Looks great. Took me a while to realize that the page would eventually jump to the Inquisitor add-in…which is why I was checking…to see if you’d updated it to support Firefox. Any plans? I do love Camino, but there are far more extensions for Firefox these days…

Sherpa...

How do I uninstall inquisitor? it’s only english-speaking and most of my searches are in French so I need to uninstallit

Shadownight...

Really really slick! Beautiful and fast! Some requests:

– An easy way to collapse the bar when you’re done using it (so it doesn’t stay in the way)
-The ability to add our own search engines, since people have different needs.

Great work! Congratulations!

James...

Hey, Inquisitor’s a nice idea, but it’s slow as hell on a 1.33G4. If I didn’t have to wait 3 seconds every time I even want to type in the box I’d love this app. Is there a way it could be off by default but triggered by a hot key when you’re not sure what you’re looking for? Then I’d definitely pony up for it!

Eric...

I’m kinda disappointed. Now anybody can use InquisitorX for free, without paying because this is just as functional as the Safari plug-in.

Where’s the incentive for new users to buy?

Andre...

Yep, they’re right: I’d love to be able to easily add my own search engine to the list, too. The interface is brilliantly simple!

Andre...

Oh! Another thing that would be great to have is the ability to use something like:

http://www.inquisitorx.com/beta/?q=test

[…] and get the search field prepopulated.

snowbutterfly...

Hi David!

Just wanted to say I’m still really digging all of your apps and I’m super curious about the one coming up. ;)

Because you added YouTube to the Inquisitor web search, I went to see if I could add it to the shortcut list on Inquisitor for Safari. I saw the custom search shortcut option, but that’s as far as I got. How do I add a YouTube search to the list? Or will there be a chance you’ll be adding it to the audio & video category in the next version?

Thanks again and kep up the awesome work!

Will...

Will there ever be an inquisitor Dashboard widget?

Ammonkc...

Where did the inquisitor web search go? A few weeks ago it started point directly to inquisitor for safari page. I love the web search, and even made it my homepage, but I can’t find it anymore. Please tell me where I can find it.

Mariscal...

Great app! For a regular Firefox user, the Fireforx/Google Search Bar drop down list as you write was the stuff I most missed when switching to Safari.

Maybe the next one will be to be able to load up some other languages dictionaries as in Firefox. I have my Mac OS X in Spanish and most of the internet is in english.

Thanks again for this great app! Best
Mariscal

Mariscal...

By the way, have you thought about letting the user to set up Inquisitor? Don´t get me wrong, I love the very slick design it has, but sometimes after hours of web searching i would like to have the possibility of a more neutral appeareance, like this one:

Thanks and best again,

Ed...

Can you tell me if it is possible to use inquisitor with safari on PC? I have downloaded it but can’t seem to install it.
